Below is a sample of my video editing capabilities. I have experience using Adobe Premiere and Apple iMovie. I have used Adobe After Effects, but it is presenting a very steep learning curve, while Adobe Premiere is acceptable for most video editing applications.

Phil Lucero – Preserving the Art of Neon Signage

For JTC 540 – Corporate Video Editing – at Colorado state University, I created the video above, highlighting my dad’s work to restore a neon sign in Aurora, highlighting he is one of the few neon sign benders remaining in Northern Colorado.

I edited the video using Adobe After Effects. I recorded the video in 4K using an iPhone 13 Pro.

JTC 517 Line Chart Animation

Using Adobe After Effects, I created the line chart animation above as part of an assignment for JTC 517 – Advanced Infographics – at Colorado State University. This assignment provided me some basic understanding of the animation process.

JTC 517 Bar Chart Animation

Another Adobe After Effects experiment, I created this bar chart animation for JTC 517 – Advanced Infographics – at Colorado State University. This assignment was another introduction to the After Effects software.

CSU Bookstore Remodel Progress Video

I made this video to showcase the remodeling progress at the CSU Bookstore. I shot the video using an iPhone 13 Pro mounted to a gimbal to showcase the before, during, and near final progress of the CSU Bookstore remodel project from 2022-2023.

I edited the video using Adobe Premiere Pro. The soundtrack is the CSU Fight Song, provided by the CSU Marching Band.

CSU Bookstore Remodel Preview Video

To promote a remodel project at the CSU Bookstore, I took pictures of the CSU Bookstore before the remodel, showing what the store would look like from the artist renderings we were provided from the architect.

Using Adobe Premiere, I combined these pictures with photos from the CSU Historic Photo Collection to give viewers a glimpse into the past iterations of the CSU Bookstore.
